Excessive regens - A number of our customers who use their trucks for work complain about very frequent regens that kill their fuel mileage and also gratification. Many customers who work outdoors during the cold seasons were acquainted with leaving their old diesels run hours while these were on activity site. The DPF equipped trucks don't handle this very highly. The cooler idling temperature belonging to the exhaust gas will soot up the DPF on an accelerated price. It is not uncommon as a result of customers to on their second or third filter change on the grounds that garbage Truck went into constant limp functionality. The usually dealership response is: "You can't let these new trucks idle." Which goes over practically with guys who are stuck with only a job site five miles back inside woods all day and the temperature never gets above ten college diplomas.
