Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A specific item upgrading can be used to develop specific Pokemon. The upgrade is obtained by spinning a photo disc. It is sometimes offered as a prize during Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be placed in armor, item upgrader mod weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to increase the level of their item upgrade. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, depending on the Item Upgrader mod type.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons, armors and other tools for gathering in order to add attributes or other bonuses when the equipment is being used. The equipment being upgraded must be equipped with an upgrade slot to accommodate the component. Most upgrade components require the item upgrade being upgraded to be above the specified level. Certain upgrade item items also come with special effects when they are added to an item level upgrade.
