Looking like irregular lumps of coal, with white-veined flesh, the Oregon black truffle has a texture of moist Parmesan and ground almonds". The North American Truffling Society also supported this research. Dante and Mocha, Lefevre's canine, are Lagotto Romagnolos, an Italian breed famed for its truffling prowess. The majority of Asian black truffles are grown within the Yunnan province of China. You will need a cool, dark place to store your package, as truffles need a temperature between 55 and seventy five degrees Fahrenheit to grow.
