World of Warcraft - Item upgrade items
Item upgrades allow players to increase the level of weapons and armor that are equippable. This boosts the stats of the item and may also include buffs or rerolls on an attach.
It is important to note that even though you can upgrade magic and common equipment, it's usually not worth the cost. Unique and rare equipment will quickly surpass modernized equipment and magic.
Cost
The player must spend gold to upgrade an item. The cost of upgrading an item level upgrade depends on its current level and upgrade type selected. For instance, upgrading a weapon will typically be cheaper than upgrading armor, since weapons have lower requirements for level. The amount of Gold required for upgrading an item increases as the item upgrader mod is upgraded.
The upgraded items will also have improved stats that can improve its performance in a variety of ways. This may include boosting its attack strength or critical strike chance.
