Truffle hunters in Italy and France use pigs and mixed-breed dogs to sniff out truffles. Pigs are even higher at finding truffles, but, sadly, pigs eat truffles, whereas dogs just need a doggy deal with. I often complain that it's arduous to find duck in supermarkets - now I do know the place to go if I ever need a complete duck. If you want to save a bit of cash, beef-based merchandise are slightly cheaper and supply an nearly comparable consequence. In this sauce/salsa, the Italian black truffles are mixed with chopped Champignons mushrooms (Agaricus Bisporus) and cooked in the best further virgin olive oil with nothing synthetic.
