Tunnel Container Uses
40ft tunnel container containers are also referred to as double door shipping containers. They have the same dimensions as the standard ISO container, however the difference is that they open at both ends. This allows access to cargo easily and is a useful feature if you are using containers for storage or conversion projects.
Transport
A tunnel container can be used for a variety of different reasons. Dual entry points allow you to access equipment and materials at either end. This makes it easier to move palletised loads using a forklift and simplifies stock flow management. Tunnel containers are often used as bridges for temporary use on construction sites and also as ticket entrances for events like festivals.
They are also a great solution for self-storage. By constructing a steel bulkhead, a 20ft tunnel container container can be divided into two 10ft units. This maximizes return on investment.
