WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the item upgrader kit level by +3. A random extra substat is also increased with each upgrade.
The more modernized gear generally has a higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader allows players to upgrade item their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. The item level upgrade item (click here now) used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.
You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks, to keep your equipment up to date.
