Item upgrade is a system that allows players to raise the level of their weapons, armor and trinkets over what they can obtain from specific Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor sources. It is possible to upgrade items with any Best item upgrader upgrader.
Items with high requirements (eth titans, for instance) usually increase in value when upgrading. Items with lower requirements are given a slightly lower value since they can be rolled perfectly regardless of whether they upgrade.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to upgrade an item. They can be obtained from monsters and event rewards. They are available in three types: rare, enhanced or legendary. If a player has a reroll token, they can right click on a Satanic or Angelic Item Upgrading and select the option to reroll the quality of the item level upgrade. This will exhaust the token used to reroll. Reroll tokens can also be used to trade with other players.
