Mesothelioma
Mesothelioma is a kind of cancer that grows in the linings of protection around certain organs. It most commonly develops in the lung (pleura) or in the lining of the abdomen (peritoneum).
People exposed to asbestos settlement have an increased risk for developing mesothelioma. This includes people who worked with asbestos settlement or asbestos Litigation lived near an asbestos lawsuit mine or factory.
Symptoms
Mesothelioma can be found in the thin layer of tissue that surrounds and protects internal organs. Exposure to asbestos litigation usually causes cancerous tumors to grow within these tissues, but symptoms may not be apparent for decades after exposure. The people who develop mesothelioma are more often experience pleural (lung cavity) mesothelioma. Other types include peritoneal mesothelioma (abdominal cavity) testicular and pericardial mesothelioma (lining of the heart).
Symptoms of asbestos lung mesothelioma can include difficulty breathing or pain, or fluid accumulation.
