Hi, welcome! Simon here, and iphone accessories I hope you're doing well. In this video, I'll walk you through the process of replacing the screen on a 2021 iPad 9th generation, model A2609. As you can see, the top right corner of this iPad is cracked, and iphone accessories we'll be replacing it with a new screen.
### Identifying the Model
To ensure you have the correct model, turn your iPad over and look at the fine print on the back. If it says A2609, you have the iPad 9th generation.
### Preparing for the Repair
First, turn off the iPad. Always wear safety goggles when dealing with broken glass to protect your eyes. We'll use a heat gun to loosen the adhesive holding the screen in place. If you don't have a heat gun, a hair dryer will work as well. Only heat the area you're working on to prevent the adhesive in other areas from hardening before you get to them.
