Requirements
Item upgrades allow players to increase the level of their gear that they can equip. You can purchase them by paying the appropriate currency at any item Upgrader kit upgrader NPC. Each item can be upgraded with up to 10 upgrade items bars or segments. Each bar or segment requires a certain amount of resources, including Iron Ore, Leather, and Titanium. These can be gathered by exploring the area or by looting small loot chests. The amount of resource needed increases as an item's upgrade level increases.
Some items, such as hats and shoulders, require very high levels of upgrading to attain their maximum value.
