An HGV driver pulls off the M3 motorway and into a service station, stopping for the night after having picked up a load from a warehouse outside Southampton.
But in the early hours he is woken by a noise and, looking outside, tutorial hack website sees six men unloading the cargo from the back of his lorry into three waiting vans. When he jumps out of the cab to challenge them, the gang flees - but not before one of the vans is driven directly at him, forcing him to jump out of the way.
A closer inspection reveals that the plastic side ‘curtains' that enclose the trailer have been slit open from back to front with a knife.
The lorry had been filled with two different loads - one on eight pallets and the other on 12. And of the 20 pallets, the load of 12 has gone.
‘The driver had no idea what was in either load,' said a source at the haulage company where the lorry came from.
