WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades give you boost in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item level upgrade by +3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.
The upgraded gear typically has a more value in trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variation (like eth titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader kit upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. The item level Upgrade used to upgrade the item upgrader mod will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enhancements.
You can upgrade item your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major item level upgrade city. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each couple of weeks.
