WoW Upgrades - The item upgrade Upgrader
Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the item level by +3. A random additional substat is also increased with each upgrade.
The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item upgrader has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as important for those with higher variance due to the need to roll the perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrades upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the Item level upgrade used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be applied to enchantments.
You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader each several weeks.
