Conservatory Sliding Door Repairs

Rollers
Sliding doors bring light and airiness to a space, but over time, dirt and debris, as well as filth human and pet dander may build up by the track and on the rollers. This makes it difficult for the door to slide smoothly across the track. Cleaning and Lubricating the rollers is the solution.
A stiff brush, rags and a silicone spray are the essential tools for this job. The first step is to find the screws which hold the rollers in place. They are usually located at the bottom of the door, near the base of the door. Use a screwdriver to remove the covers and remove the rollers (Photo 1).
