Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
Item upgrading is a key factor in maximizing the power of your gear. It allows you to add bonus stats onto the value of your item's base level.
Each upgrade template has a set of options which can be changed using the edition GUI. These options include the upgrading reference and the possibility of upgrading.
upgrade item components
As part of the 2.0 update the system for upgrading weapons and armor in Cyberpunk has been improved. upgrade items components are available throughout Night City, and the item that you want to upgrade must have an upgrade item slot. The game will display an overview of the item level upgrade's expected stats after upgrading. It will also show the component or material needed. If you don't have the required level or resource to upgrade an item the button will say "Blocked."
The items that can be upgraded include armor and weapons as well as a few trinkets and gathering tools.
