WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item upgrader kit by +3. A random substat is also added to every upgrade items.
The upgraded gear is usually more useful, unless the item upgrader kit has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like Eth Titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the item level Upgrade that is used to upgrade will be consumed forever and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.
The upgrader can be found in every major city, and can be visited at any time to upgrade your equipment. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.
