World of Warcraft item level upgrade Upgrades
Items that can be added to trinkets, weapons and armor to boost their effectiveness are known as upgrade item items. You can find them in missions and vendors, as well as the Trading Post.
Upgrading gear is one of the most effective ways to increase your ship/characters effectiveness in battle. Gear that is upgraded increases in Mark Level and rarity.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components are items that can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other items to gain additional bonuses. These bonuses can range from stat boosts to other effects when the Best item upgrade (they said) is equipped. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, buying from a vendor, selling karma or looting. You can also salvage them using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage tool.
Each item upgrade comes with a power level and rarity level. In general, the most powerful upgrades are more effective because they will give your equipment higher stats.
