Item upgrader kit upgrade is a feature that allows players to raise the level and additional bonuses of weapons, armor and trinkets. They also offer a variety of cosmetic effects.
Most items will increase in value when they are upgraded with a few exceptions. For instance, a properly rolling eth titan can be worth more than 20x its non-upp'd counterpart.
Rerolling
The reroll feature allows players to swap out their armor or weapon upgrade for one with different stats. This feature is a way to gain more value from an upgrade since it does not affect the Best item upgrade’s level or bonus. To reroll an upgrade click on the item upgrading's box icon and then click the "Reroll" option. The new upgrade is random and the original bonus will not be restored.
Rerolling is common in many gacha games, Item upgrader including Genshin Impact. It involves creating a new account and trying again until the player gets the character or Best Item upgrader weapon they want.
