Michigan’s cold winters and mild summers create the perfect surroundings for truffles to develop.- Northern michigan - the dense forests of northern michigan are identified to harbor a vast range of truffle varieties, including black, white, and even burgundy truffles.- Southwest michigan - this area is famous for its black truffles, which develop within the oak and hickory forests that cowl the area.- Southeast michigan - the woodland areas in this area are house to black truffles, which develop in the roots of oak and beech trees. I quickly came to the realization that eating truffles on all the pieces wasn’t going to be reality for me without a completely empty wallet as white and black truffles are as intently related to fantastic dining and costly delicacies as caviar and kobe beef.
