The rules for category a1 are applicable to those who want to ride small motorcycles. These motorcycles have a maximum cylinder power of 35 kW. They cannot be derived from vehicles with more than twice their power.
Open category drone operations are separated into three subcategories - A1 to A3. You can fly drones with class C0 or C1 as part of the wymagane badania a1 subcategory (fly over people) until January 2024.
A1
Category A1 is the earliest of three drone categories controlled by EASA. It is available to aircraft up to the maximum takeoff mass (MTOM), which is 25 kilograms. It requires a record of flight as well as a flight schedule, Wymagane Badania A1 remote identification systems and a geoawareness. The drone must be in constant sight of the pilot. It is not permitted to fly over individuals or prawo jazdy Na motor areas that are used for recreational, commercial or kurs jazdy Na Motocyklu a1 industrial purposes. The drone must also stay at a minimum of 120 meters above ground level.
