Path of Exile item upgrader mod Upgrading
Item upgrading allows players to improve their weapons and gear with new affixes that boost its stats base or providing additional benefits. To item upgrade items, the player must have the Item upgrader Kit in their inventory and have access to the kiln.
Items with weak bases, like rings, can be upgraded into more robust bases. Items with strong bases, such as the Titans of eth have little changes in their stats.

upgrade items components can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. They can be used as an attribute benefit, or extra effect, while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, retrieved as loot by enemies, or received from chests and missions. Certain upgrades come with additional cosmetic effects. Most upgrades require that the equipment be above a certain level before they are upgraded.
