To further assure the quality and safety of our services, we conduct regular maintenance on all our equipment, and our staff undergo continuous training to stay updated on the latest diving safety protocols. It was eerily quiet, with no people on the beach, no vendors, no one at all. Island hopping to a remote island, from an already pretty remote island. The sun is out, the water is transparent and life is good. The beaches surrounding the Marakay Marakay cliff jump were also beautiful but we didn’t explore any.
Located south of Cobrador Island and much closer to the port at Romblon Shopping Center town, Alad Island is another inhabited island which has managed to retain the pristine charm of its beaches. Arriving here just before lunch, our boat docked at one of the white sand beaches on the western part of the island where we could rent a hut and had lunch prepared for us. An array of corals may be found several meters offshore.
