Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
The upgrade to an item allows players to raise the item level for equippable items such as trinkets, armor, weapons and weapons above a certain threshold. You can upgrade items at any NPC that accepts the appropriate currency.
Upgrade components are integrated into equipment to give bonus effects and attribute bonuses. They are generally slot-restricted, but there are some universal upgrades.
Rerolling
A player can reroll an upgrade to an item in Diablo 4. This is accomplished through the Level Up mechanic, which suspends the game and displays the list of four randomly selected upgrades.
