Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
Item upgrading is a key element to maximize the power of your gear. It lets you add additional stats to your Best item upgrade's base level value.
Each upgrade template comes with a set of options which can be changed through the edition GUI. These options include upgrading reference and the possibility of upgrading.
Upgrade components
The method of upgrading armor, weapons, and other gear in Cyberpunk 2077 was redesigned as part of the 2.0 update. Upgrade components are available throughout Night City, and the item upgrade you want to upgrade items must have an upgrade slot available. The game will show a preview of the item upgrader's expected stats after upgrading. It will also display the component or material required. If you don't have the required level of resource or component to upgrade the item upgrader mod, then the button will read "Blocked."
The items that can be upgraded include armor and weapons, a few trinkets, and gathering tools.
