Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Best item upgrader upgrades allow players to increase the level of equippable items such as weapons, armor, and trinkets to a certain level. You can upgrade items at any NPC that accepts the appropriate currency.
Slots are used to add upgrade components into equipment to gain attributes bonuses and other effects. Most of these upgrades are slot-restricted however some are universal.
Rerolling
A player can roll an item upgrade in Diablo 4. This is done through the Level Up feature, which pauses your game and displays four randomly chosen upgrades. The player can choose one of the upgrades to continue fighting. Rerolling costs the same as the normal Level Up. However, players must be careful when choosing an upgrade because they will not know what the new stats will be until the item upgrader mod has been being rerolled.
The Best item upgrader's rarity and the level of its upgrade determine it. Each level of an item's upgrade boosts its base power by +3.
