World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on weapons, armor and rings. They also boost extra bonuses such as PvE damage and crit chance.
For example an item upgrader mod with the upgrade template that ends in % will suffer an attack damage of 3% each time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).
The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the Best item upgrade's level. The cost increases as the item's level rises.
Components
upgrade items (click the following web page) components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons and armor in order to give them a boost in stats or an extra effect. They can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors or trading with other players or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by special cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment that has a slot to accommodate them. The item upgrades must have been at a minimum upgraded to blue level in order for the component to be used.
