Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of the Best item upgrade by +3. A random additional substat is also increased with every upgrade.
Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less important for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.
The upgrader can be found in every major city, and can be accessed anytime to upgrade your equipment.
