WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. Each upgrade item also boosts a random substat.
The upgraded gear typically has a greater value for trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as important for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item level upgrade (sneak a peek here) upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.
The upgrader is located in all major cities, and is accessible at any time to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended to visit the upgrader every few weeks, to keep your equipment up to date.
