Trends come and go, but the Tom and Jerry gets its own chapter in Hurt’s e book as a result of "it never went out of trend in Wisconsin." One of her favorite sizzling drink tales is a few Milwaukee bar raided during Prohibition with a steaming batch of Tom and Jerrys behind the bar. Kind of like a progressive dinner, solely featuring a special sizzling drink and snack at each house.
