Most concrete stone holds up fine outside in any weather make sure that it was developed and manufactured for that target. Concrete needs microscopic air pockets so the moisture can expand and Stepstone Pavers contract without affecting the solid concrete bits. Our proprietary mix formula, similar to other exterior concrete stone includes air-entrainment agents allow prevent people use this from ending under freeze-thaw conditions like those present northern climates. Formulas can be adjusted for extreme conditions and special applications too by adding extra air-entrainment agent. You want to be at around 5% air content.
Natural stone veneer will require more skill to install that man-made stone. Labor costs become higher end result specialty tools that are needed, for example grinders with diamond blades and possibly a masonry saw. Also sharp chisels and masonry hammers are important.
