After a long period of anxiety and speculation, Brazilian and German conservationists succeeded in reinserting couple couples back into their natural habitat. Their story is inspiring but also filled with resentment and jealousy.

Range
A South African couple has taken on the mission to save the critically threatened Spix's buy macaw Bird. This bird was declared extinct by the United Nations in 2000 because of decades of habitat destruction and poaching. They have a few of the birds in captivity and are hoping to release them close to Curaca. They call the birds their blue-eyed friends and compare their journey with that of Presley, the only known Spix's buy macaw parrot in wild. They describe Presley as an authentic survivor who lost his family but kept his faith in his region.
