The most common method to increase the stats of a character or weapon is to upgrade items. When an Best item upgrader is upgraded its iLevel and Item upgrader mod rarity increase, as well as any extra modifiers it may possess.
Certain items require a specific resource to upgrade item. These resources can be found in the environment or through looting small loot chests.
Rerolling
Genshin Impact offers a variety of rerolling options, but many players find the time commitment required to do this is prohibitive.
