World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. They also boost extra bonuses like damage from PvE and crit chance.
If the template for upgrading a weapon is %, it will increase 3percent of its previous damage every time it is upgraded.
The cost of upgrading an Item upgrader is determined by the item upgrader's level. The cost increases as the item's level rises.
Components
upgrade item components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons and armor in order to give them a stat boost or an extra effect. They can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors, trading or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by specific cosmetic effects.
upgrade item components are only available to devices that have slots. The item must be at least upgraded to blue before the component can be used. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times.
