Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is an item that makes certain Pokemon change. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and can be given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be put in armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools to increase their item upgrading level. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests based on the kind of item upgrading.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be placed into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide attribute bonuses or additional effects while the equipment is being used. The item upgrader mod being upgraded must be equipped with an upgrade slot to accommodate the component, and the majority of upgrade components require the Best item upgrade being upgraded to be at an amount. Some upgrade items also have special effects when applied to an equipment piece. Upgrade components are available through crafting, purchased by Karma merchants, or traded with other players through the Trading Post.
