The upgrade to an Best item upgrade allows players to raise the level of their equippable items like trinkets, weapons, and armor over a certain threshold. You can upgrade items at any NPC that accepts the appropriate currency.
Slots are used to upgrades to equipment in order to gain attribute bonuses and additional effects. The majority of these upgrades are slot-restricted, but a few are universal.
Rerolling
A player is able to reroll an upgrade to an item upgrader mod in Diablo 4. This is accomplished through the Level Up mechanic, which suspends the game and displays the list of four randomly selected upgrades. The player can choose one of the upgrades to continue the battle. Rerolling costs the same as a regular Level Up. Players should be cautious to select the correct Upgrade Item, as they will not be aware of the new stats until the Best item upgrade has been rerolled.
