Path of Exile Item Upgrades

Additionally, they can be salvaged from items that have upgrade components within them by using an expert or greater salvage kit.
The level of an armor's or weapon's upgrade items determines the amount of damage it will absorb. The ability to absorb damage of an Best item upgrader of armor will increase as it is upgraded to the maximum upgrade level.
