What is an Upgrade Item in Genshin Impact?
Upgrade items are a special kind of Best item upgrader that ensure that Pokemon evolve. They can be obtained by spinning Pokestop discs, or as rewards for events that are related to evolution.
They can be incorporated into armor, weapons trinkets, weapons, or gathering tools to add stats or effects. Some upgrades can have a decorative effect.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors and trinkets in order to add a bonus effect or a unique feature when the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or acquired as rewards. They can also be crafted dropped, made, or obtained by crafting. Upgrade components are required to be higher than the item upgrader they will be added to. They also require that the Best item upgrader has an upgrade slot. Upgrade components can be substituted with other Best item upgrade components, with the exception for inscriptions and glyphs that are only able to be removed or added.
